Making a Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on “Order” and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept credit or debit card payment by Visa, Mastercard, Maestro or Visa-Debit. If you are paying with a non-UK credit card, your account will be debited with the UK sterling equivalent at the time of order fulfillment.
You may give your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.
Carriage & Handling
Carriage & Handling is charged on the following basis:
For standard despatch by the fastest method:
UK (First Class or Yodel):
Up to £24.99 – £3.00 p&p
Over £24.99 – £6.50 p&p
Overseas (Airmail (Priority M-Bag)):
Up to £10 – £5.00 p&p
Up to £20 – £7.50 p&p
Up to £50 – £10.00 p&p
Up to £100 – £15.00 p&p
Over £100 – £20.00 p&p
Over £500 – £40.00 p&p
We normally despatch orders within 1 working day.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. You will always be e-mailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added where applicable.

All payments through our website are handled by WorldPay, a processing system that offers the highest level of functionality of any secure internet payments system, with the highest level of bank-approved security (PCI DSS Level 1)

Stainer & Bell do not disclose buyer’s information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item. Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfill customer orders

c. Only disclose information to third parties for delivery purposes
You may cancel an order at any time prior to dispatch. In addition you may return items without obligation within 7 days of delivery. Unless items are received damaged or delivered to you in error, you will be responsible for the cost of return.
We will only offer a refund or exchange of products provided they are returned unused and unmarked and are in the original packaging.
Please enclose a copy of the invoice with the item you are returning, stating the reason for return and whether you require an exchange or refund. Please note that we do not refund carriage costs. Please return the parcel to us at:

For customer security, we recommend you obtain a Proof of Posting Certificate (available from the Post Office) for all returns. You should keep this until you have received your exchange or refund. We do not accept any liability for products returned.
