Making a Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on “Order” and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept credit or debit card payment by Visa, Mastercard, Maestro or Visa-Debit. If you are paying with a non-UK credit card, your account will be debited with the UK sterling equivalent at the time of order fulfilment.
You may give your credit card information via phone, post or via the secure website.

We normally despatch orders within 1 working day.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
For orders made in the UK, 20% VAT is added where applicable.
EU VAT Distance Selling Regulations and Customs Charges
In line with the new EU VAT distance selling regulations (1 July 2021), VAT and customs fees may be charged by your local delivery operator in addition to the costs paid on this website.
If you are ordering goods for delivery outside of the UK or EU, your consignment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the goods reach the country/region of the destination. Any such charges levied in relation to customs clearance must be borne by you. It is accepted by you that Stainer & Bell has no control over additional charges in relation to customs clearance. We recommend that you check with your local customs officials or post office for more information regarding importation taxes/duties that may be applicable to your online order.

All payments through our website are handled by WorldPay, a processing system that offers the highest level of functionality of any secure internet payments system, with the highest level of bank-approved security (PCI DSS Level 1)

Stainer & Bell do not disclose buyer’s information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item. Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfil customer orders

c. Only disclose information to third parties for delivery purposes
You may cancel an order at any time prior to dispatch. In addition, you may return items without obligation within 7 days of delivery. Unless items are received damaged or delivered to you in error, you will be responsible for the cost of return.
We will only offer a refund or exchange of products provided they are returned unused and unmarked and are in the original packaging.
Please enclose a copy of the invoice with the item you are returning, stating the reason for return and whether you require an exchange or refund. Please note that we do not refund carriage costs. Please return the parcel to us at:
