This gentle and tender Nativity hymn, which celebrates Mary’s joy at the birth of her son, is beautifully brought to life with well-known Christmas lullabies and carols incorporated into the Latin text – adding a heightened drama to the narrative.

Accessible but challenging enough for most large choruses, chamber choirs and school choirs. For an additional festive sparkle add an optional brass quintet.
