Composed in 1955 for Denis Wick and the Birmingham Orchestra. This arrangement was completed in 1995 for the BBC Festival of Brass. The first performance took place in Studio 7, Manchester on Sunday 26 February 1995 with Warwick Tyrell and the Sun Life Band, conducted by Roy Newsome.
