Ronald Corp 1951–2025 RIP

With great sadness we mourn the passing of conductor and composer Ronald Corp OBE. A friend of Stainer & Bell over many years, Ron left a distinguished collection of music in numerous genres, including in the S&B choral catalogue the remembrance cantata And all the trumpets sounded, the Missa San Marco and A Christmas Mass. Truly a multi-faceted artist, he made important contributions to a deeper understanding of British music through his recordings of forgotten classics. His inspirational example will be missed by amateur and professional choirs, and by all who enjoyed his joyful, effortless music-making.
