Any use of Stainer & Bell copyrights (music or text) requires an appropriate licence which must be obtained in advance. Tap on the + icons below for further information.

Live Performance

Performances of a work in a public concert, broadcasting, or streaming a recording or performance from a website are licensed in the UK by PRS for Music and its affiliated societies overseas. This does not include works written for the stage (eg. an opera or ballet) or written for concert performance but will be used with staged action, lighting, or dance. These works are referred to as Grand Right works and application for performance must be made directly to Stainer & Bell. Please contact our copyright department (copyright@stainer.co.uk) giving full details of your request.

Recordings

CD Recordings and other physical or on-line digital products are licensed through the Mechanical Copyright Protection Society (MCPS) or its affiliated societies overseas.
