Naomi Yandell

Naomi Yandell studied cello with Michael Evans and Ioan Davies. Since reading Music at York University she has pursued a varied career in music publishing (contemporary and educational), consultancy and teaching (cello and music theory).

Naomi teaches cello and music theory privately and at Stringmoves. She has many students who have won scholarships and places at UK conservatoires and specialist music schools and is the ESTA Regional Officer for Cambridgeshire.

Naomi is the co-author, with Celia Cobb, of Cool Beans and Top Banana published by Stainer & Bell. Together they have also written Take Your Bow, a 12-book progressive sight-reading method for strings for Trinity College London Press and the First and Further String Note Book series (Bridge Music Publications).  As a solo writer, she has written the Trinity theory workbooks (Introducing Theory of Music – Grade 8). https://www.naomiyandell.co.uk/
