Alex Hall

Alex HallAlex Hall was a chorister at Barnet Parish Church from 1988 to 1994 and organ scholar at St Mary’s Cathedral Edinburgh from 1997 to 1998. Whilst studying at Balliol College, Oxford, he was organ scholar at the University Church, where he also spent some time as acting Director of Music, following his graduation in 2001. From 2004 to 2006, he was organist at C. S. Lewis’ parish church, Holy Trinity, Headington Quarry, during which time he also directed the Arcadian Singers of Oxford University. Alex moved to St Albans in 2006 and is a member of the choir of St Peter’s Church. He is a guest conductor of the St Albans chamber choir, Carillon, and Chair of Governors at Beaumont School. A solicitor by profession, Alex continues to be active as performer, conductor and composer in his spare time.
