Yorke Edition was founded in 1969 by Rodney Slatford OBE and has produced editions of over 120 works mostly for double bass, all carefully prepared and researched to include a wealth of new material for students and children.

All publications are printed in well-engraved editions for clarity and ease of reading. Titles for double bass are always tuned in so-called ‘orchestral tuning’ (i.e. EADG) rather than in ‘solo tuning’.
